Tough as nails! Review by Digdug42
I have had my Echo HD for a year now. Still love it........and still working! Often i will go to a location I plan to call the following day and set the call on the roof of my truck. I will run some howls, wait 2-5 minutes and have a couple of packs howling back. It's awesome! I will then call that spot the next morning. After locating some packs, I'm so excited that I forget to take the call off of the roof. Last night was the fifth time I've done that. I usually done remember untill I hear it crashing on the road. Yup, it's got plenty of road rash, but hasn't skipped a beat. The handle has four drywall screws holding it on! The sounds and volume sound as good as the day I got it. I live in a town above 7000 ft. and we get alot of wind. I do wish it was just a bit louder or had an external speaker jack, but that hasn't stopped the dawgs from coming to the call! Good Call for the money Review by Derek
I ordered this call on a Tuesday and recieved it in Texas on the following Friday so I was very pleased with the speedy shipping. The call was exactly as advertised and came with 8 energizer rechargeable batteries. The call is well built, there are no gaps at the seams, and the remote fits securely in the docking station. Even the large flathead style screw holes are well thought out since you can use a coin, knife, or whatever is handy to open them. I did use the call over the weekend and was impressed how well it worked. All the sounds I used were good quality and came out of the speakers crisp and clear with no noticable distortion even at the highest volume level. This isn't the loudest call on the market but for me the volume was fine. I could easily hear the call 100 to 150 yards away and if I could hear it that far I know the critters could hear it further than that. The remote worked fine at 150 yards and I did not test it any further. It is not complicated to change the calls with the remote but I would not argue for more features. I used the call off and on from 6 a.m. till around 10 p.m. and the charge was still at around 75% on the unit and the remote showed all bars. I am not a competative predator hunter but do enter the occassional hunt and this call will work well enough for that as well as the nights and days the guys are just wanting to get out of the house. I would definately reccomend this call to other persons and you can order from Wildlife Callers with confidence in my experience. This call will be hard to beat until you get up into the higher price points. (Posted on 1/16/12)
second review of this caller this time fox Review by new guy
Have had a slight fox explosion this year

Took the caller, and quivering rabbit out for a spin. Set it up and within 5 minutes it was just like on TV on the hunting shows... Fox went straight to the caller. Had to get him off of it to avoid shooting the caller. While not believing what had just happened, in came another fox. Part II. For the money can't complain on this caller.

Gotta love something which works so well for so little money. (Posted on 9/25/11)
Great Value Review by Jeremy in PA
This call is well worth the money spent! I received mine in the mail and after charging for a few hours, headed out to hunt on a bitter cold February night. The very first set of the night produced a gray fox who came in running to the "Snow shoe hare " distress with in two minutes. I have used the caller numerous times since, and have taken crows over it as well as frequently setting off the local coyote population into frenzied howling! The remote functions flawlessly, and the clarity of the recordings is comparable with much more expensive units. When charging the unit, the remote is plugged into a dock recessed on the side of the call, ad charges also, no extra chargers or batteries required. The only issue I have had is that when placing the supplied rechargeable AA batteries in the battery pack, care must be taken to ensure they are tight, or the unit will not charge. Over all, the ECHO is a great value, and comparable to much more expensive units on the market! (Posted on 3/7/11)

1st Stand Review by Neil in KY
First, GREAT service from Wildlife Callers and will recommend them to others. Made my first stand this morning since receiving my Echo ER1. Coyote almost ran over my caller and quiver critter while I was playing young cotton tail distress. Only problem he did not stop to give me a shot, kind of caught me off guard how fast he ran in.
Pros: My ER1 worked flawless. Remote commands were instant and the sounds clear and crisp on the highest level. On-board remote dock is very handy while transporting. Plenty of sounds.
Cons: The caller has a hard plastic body and the carry strap rings are loud when they rub against the body. But, this is not a very big issue. They can be removed and replaced with something else.
In conclusion, very pleased with this caller and I can not wait to get back out with it again.

Flextone ECHO eR1 Review by Nigel K, IL
Although I've not yet had this unit in the field, it has some really great sounds and has plenty of volume. Comparing this unit to my buddies FoxPro FX-3, I believe it will be winner at only one-third the price. Thanks Marc @ WildlifeCallers.com for all your help!

So Far So Good Review by mike06
Glad I got mine before stock ran out. Fast shipping to Louisiana thanks for that. I have only tried it once so far. Brought in the Crows real quick. Tried for Coyotes but I am just a newbe at that. I was in the woods with a limited view of the area. Can't wait to get in a more open area. The construction of the unit is rugged and the remote works good. (Posted on 12/24/10)
Had both for a side by side comparison Review by R15MAX1
I called Marc at Wildlife Caller to ask him some questions about the Echo eR1. I was looking for a cool Christmas present for my son. At that time because of price I was sold on the Foxpro Spitfire. After asking Marc a few question he invited me to come out and hear the Echo eR1 in person. Marc scrolled through a few sounds and then played the WT mighty atom MA-21 next to the Echo eR1. The eR1 with the volume maxed out was louder than #3 volume level on the MA-21 but not as loud as #4 They both sound great. The MA-21 deliver a superior sound and was crystal clear all the way to volume level #6. My brother heard enough and bought the last Echo eR1 Marc had. Marc said he would have more in a couple of days so I decided to go buy the Foxpro Spitfire and compare them both side by side. All I really cared about was volume and max range of the handset. For the Test we took them both out to an open field at night. We placed them side-by-side on the ground and walked away about 100 yards. We scrolled through some calls trying to find the same one so it would be a fair test. They both sound great; the Echo eR1 was bit loader as it should be, it has more power and two speakers. When we moved out to 150 yards The Foxpro Spitfire would not always receive the input so I found my self inputting the commands a couple of times or more for it to respond. When we moved out to 200 yard the Echo eR1 was still working perfect and the sound was crystal clear. On the other hand the Foxpro Spitfire would not work at all and I had to walk towards it about 40 yard to get it to respond. I thought for an extra 80.00 dollars the FoxPro Spitfire would have to be better, I was wrong. The Foxpro Spitfire is going back to the store. Don’t get me wrong the Spitfire sound is great and I like the fact that you can change out calls with the Micro SD card and the fact that it only takes 4 AA batteries and has 20 to 24 hours of run time. I thought about buying the external speaker but the lack of range of the handset killed it. If it didn’t work in a wide-open soccer field with no obstructions it would be terrible in the desert full of cactus. If your going to buy a Foxpro, buy a Fury or a Prairie Blaster, as for me I will be saving my money for the WT mighty atom MA-21. My son he will be more than happy with the Echo eR1. For the price 116.00 the eR1 is great, 100 great sounds and unbelievable range. I wish it had a few more Elk sounds but the two javelina sound more than made up for it. The way you pick from the library of digital sounds is very organized and easy and the fact that you can see a play and pause sign on the handset is very helpful. Marc/Mark at Wildlife Caller was over the top and even made a list of the best Arizona sounds out of the list of 100 sounds the Echo eR1 came with. Marc/Mark at Wildlife Caller thanks for the honest help. (Posted on 12/19/10)
good service and fast shipping Review by JR
I don't like buying things over the Internet so I called Marc at Wildlife Caller and talked to him once in the morning and then later that same day when I finally bought my echo caller. He was very helpful and my caller arrived in 3 days and that was standard shipping. I charged the caller over night like Marc suggested. It sounds really good at the house, nice and clear. Thanks for the great service. I will be getting back to you. (Posted on 12/12/10)
