Patrick - I hear your frustration - but I have some questions about your personal approach to solving a problem.

Where did you buy your caller? I note that it was NOT us - So were they unwilling to assist you with what is an unusual condition for your caller? Or did you fail to contact your retailer? Did you call Flextone (Wildgame Innovations 800-847-8269) - they have been very helpful in repairing or replacing callers found to have issues.

We've been selling this caller for two seasons with excellent reviews - there have been some mechanical failures - but we at Wildlife Callers have stood with our customers to make sure they ended up with a working/functional machine. Wildgame Innovations has also been a great help in replacing defects as they've come up - callers with bullet holes excluded.

My personal experience with the caller in field hunting conditions was good remote response at 25 - 50 - 75 - and 100 yards. If your machine did not do this, it was something to be addressed by Flextone or your retailer.

Shooting the caller leaves you in a indefensible position and out the money. Even if you'd bought the caller from us we'd have to refuse to assist you with a bullet-hole dead caller.

Even my old Johnny Stewart 512 had some electrical problems - that they gladly repaired. A cool and collected approach on my part got the job done. Was I frustrated? Yes. But not so much so that I couldn't pick up my Circe cottontail closed-reed and keep calling - let not a device be your master.

Cooler heads sir - cooler heads...

Hello. I purchased the flextone echo ER1 around two months ago, the call does sound great and its easy to use.... that is if the POS works!!!!!!!! The remote is worthless any further than 80 yards and most of the time it won't switch between calls or change volume even if your 10 foot away from it... needless to say I had enough of this hunk of crap so one day after a terrible hunt it met my 7mm REM MAG!!!! Good riddence to that worthless pile of junk

No bait...

Deuce is Dan's right-hand calling girl - she's a great extra pair of eyes...and nose...and ears...

Like all JR Terriers - she's a handful, but a great dog
