someone who:

There are many good reasons to hunt that go beyond the consumption of the animal as table fare. I've looked at both sides of the hunting/anti-hunting arguments very carefully and conclude that sport hunters do vastly more for the environment than any combined grouping of anti-hunters. I also disagree with the sentiment that animals are just like us and on par with our human existence. Anthopomorphisation as seen in movies and books masks reality, pollutes minds, and lacks basis in logic.

Why is it when a mountain lion kills something it fails to eat, which does happen, people in your mindset see that as "nature", but when I kill a bobcat and put it in my house it's "murder" or some equivalent evil. Like it or not, humans are in the chain too.

I've spent a lifetime reading material that both supports and runs contrary to my beliefs and countless hours in the outdoors learning and understanding the true nature of wild animals. I encourage the same of you. For now, we can just agree to disagree. Thank you reading and taking the time to comment.

I don't understand the desire to kill beautiful predatory mammals in order to feel a sense of accomplishment, but if one is to do it, personally using fake animal calls and a gun seems a bit unfair....like the creature isn't really being honored? I wouldn't say it's wrong, but I wonder if the hunter respect's his kill? For me taking life isn't a game....I hope men who hunt for fun find a way to tune into their heart and recognize the beauty of the life they are taking so that animal's life and gift is respected. If you look close enough, you just might see a part of yourself in that being. Perhaps you already do, I don't know. Just one young woman's opinion. ❤

Sounds like fun. I once had 6 coyotes running directly at me. I actually started to laugh, and they did a 180' and kicked in the afterburners.
